WindWorks provides a wide selection of quality pad materials to cater to the individual's preference. Contact us to discuss the pad of choice for your flute. the following is a list of pad materials available.

Complete Clean, Oil & Adjustment Service (COA Svc)
Recommended to send your flute for this service once a year. It will keep your clarinet in good playing condition and prevent any potential problem. A clean flute do really sound much better than a dirty, dull one.

  • Chemical Washing of Bodies 

  • Cleaning and oiling of mechanisms (keys, levers, springs, screws & rods)

  • Polishing of keys & levers

  • Cleansing of oxide ring off the pads

  • Replacement of worn out pads, as and when required

  • Replacement of worn out regulation corks & bumper corks, as and when required

  • Pad Reshiming, as and when required

  • Regulation of keys

  • Lubrication of mechanism (synthetic light/medium oil)
Good Playing Conditioning Service (GPC Svc)
Like any woodwind instrument, the flute will only work when all the parts and mechanism are working properly together.

  • Repair of stuck keys/levers

  • Straightening of bent hinge tube and hinge rod

  • Removal of dents on metal body

  • Soldering of key posts and ribs on body

  • Soldering of pad retaining spud

  • Replacement of broken/worn out springs

  • Replacement of head joint tuning cork (recommend to replace every 2 years)

  • Replacement of worn out /missing parts

  • key regulation/ key height adjustment

  • Reseating/reshiming of leaking pads

  • Readjustment of spring tension (too strong/weak)

  • Tightening of loose keywork (reduce side and radial play)

  • Head joint and foot joint fitting (too tight/ too loose)

  • Split-E mechanism regulation
Cosmetic Service

  • Buffing of keys, levers, rings and polishing of key posts

  • Buffing of metal bodies

  • Replacement of head joint tuning cork system. options: Dyna DFS tuning System/ Bigio Stopper.

  • Polishing of embouchure hole

  • Installation of High E Facilitator (E donut) - options: delrin/ aluminium

  • Installation of open holes delrin french bushing/grommets (replace existing metal one)

  • Fitting of new head joint to main body
